The greatest customer service I received in a long while. The food quantities are amazing. Perfect place for small breakfast in a little town.

9/12/2023: First Visit Stopped here for lunch. Very friendly young woman greeted me and brought me to the table of my choice immediately. Atmosphere is pretty good but booth cushions need some TLC. I loved the Salisbury steak but the chicken and dumplings completely missed the mark with zero chicken... reminded me of egg drop soup. And what's with the overly buttery yellow rice? If you love chicken base, you'll love this place but I prefer scratch made recipes when I think of country cooking. Maybe I just didn't get what they're known for. Oh well, if I'm passing through again I'll try something different.

From the plane filthiness to the food a awful experience . The pancakes were cold and like bricks and look closely at the bacon it must have been yesterday's food. I will not return to give it a second chance!

Excellent small town restaurant, decent menu with reasonable prices. Recently remodeled with a nicely done interior. Next to the Friendship Lake beach and boat launch.

We've been to this restaurant many times throughout the years, so we're not new to this place. The staff was great...attentive, courteous & thoughtful. My husband ordered the baked fish & he enjoyed it very much. I ordered the Cobb salad, and though it was well-made, the dressing was runny & tasteless (honey mustard). The slice of orange that was put into my iced tea tasted like old produce. I'm hoping it was just an off day, as I usually have no complaints about the food here. We don't go out much, but we'll probably go back sometime in the future & give it another try. Also the decor could stand a little updating, with less stuffed wildlife & other clutter.

I also got a few drinks which pads the bill, which is expected. Overall everything was great. They could use another server as they were pretty busy. I'll definitely be back

My husband and I always make sure to stop by Family Affair when we come into town! We always have a wonderful experience. Fast and friendly service, delicious food, and great prices. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great dining experience!
